Art at Serranos

My art is going to be hanging at Serrano's Coffee Company in Monument, CO during
 the months of February, March and April.  There will be a "Meet the Artist" reception
 on March 2 from 11 till 2.  I'm planning on hanging 15 of my original watercolor
 paintings and all will be for sale.  Serranos is a wonderful place to gather and enjoy
 great coffee.  It is located at 625 W. Highway 105 in Monument.

PPWS Signature Member Show

 

I just got the invitations to the annual PPWS Signature Member

Show, and my painting, Aspen Mountain Flowers, was chosen

to be on the invitation.  This should be a great show with lots of

good food the night of the reception, Dec 7 from 5 - 8.

CWS MEMBER SHOW

2 of my paintings, Aspen Mountain Flowers and
Kauai Surf #1,  were juried into this show.
  The juror is Molly Davis.   

CWS New Trends Show Invitation

I just got some invitations for the CWS New Trends Show and was
very surprised to see my painting "Sunbathing Beauty" on the invitation!
How nice that was for them to select it as one of several paintings
to be on the cover of the invitation.

Iguanas juried into CO New Trends Show

I just found out that my painting, "Sunbathing Beauty", has been juried into
the Colorado Watercolor Society's New Trends Show.  The reception will be
Friday, September 7, 2012, from 5 till 9 at the Madden Museum in Denver.

                                                                                     

Aspen Mountain Flowers

I've been wanting to paint this from a photo I took over in Aspen several years ago.  I just finished it after working on if for several months.  It was very complicated with all the bricks, the flowers and the window that reflected the mountains in the distance, cars and scenes from close to the building, and through the glass, lots of items in the store.

Kauai Surf Paintings

One year ago, my son and I were on the beach at Kauai, HI.  I took lots of photos and finally got around to painting 2 of them.  This is the first time I've ever painted the ocean - it brought back fond memories.
